DIY Workshops with Kimchi
We will be growing all our own Napa cabbage, carrots, garlic, daikon, spring onions, pumpkin, pear and apple ourselves, and even we are starting to grow an experimental small amount of Belgian Ginger, which may or may not work out..!
You will learn how to make excellent Kimchi (non-pasteurised, fermented properly) for yourself and take home your fresh self-made Kimchi of the very highest quality possible, in a 1 kg Weck glass.
Statement about organic-ness: the only non-organic ingredient used is the excellent spicy red Korean pepper we use, as we have not found an organic equivalent.
If you don’t have the time to join the course but can’t live without the Kimchi, you can buy it directly from us at a discount if you order and pay in advance. We will only be producing in 1 kg Weck glasses with the ring and clip system, and the glass will cost 2,- and the Kimchi itself will be 14,- / kg. (Farm Shop price 18,- / kg!) We expect to deliver in October 2023. Your early orders on the What’s On When page are greatly appreciated so we can get an idea of how much to produce.
