Welcome to Our Little Corner of the Earth
It’s been an amazing year so far! We kept our little shop open all through the winter, and 2025 brought an incredible gift: two polytunnels, generously donated by an anonymous benefactor (you know who you are—thank you from the bottom of our hearts!).
With this wonderful boost, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Through a long, cold winter, we germinated seeds on underfloor heating and poured our energy into digging, planting, and planning. Now that spring is finally here, we’re thrilled to say—we’re on time, we’re on top of it, and against all odds, everything is growing beautifully.
Just last week, we harvested our first radishes and turnip greens (stielmus!), and a vibrant array of herbs and leafy greens are already thriving. The first tomatoes are in the ground, alongside peppers, aubergines, carrots, daikon, onions—and of course, beetroot and parsnip (though we’re re-sowing those today after a little bird-related setback!).
If the weather holds, it’s going to be a bountiful harvest, and we can’t wait to share it all with you.
Beyond the garden, the yoga group is flourishing, Sonja’s massages are always fully booked, and most importantly, we’re healthy, happy, and full of gratitude.
If you’ve got a bit of time to spare and would like to lend a hand, we’d love the help—it’s a busy season!
Thank you to all our loyal customers and friends. We truly couldn’t do this without you.
With love,
😊.

The solution to both the climate emergency and the food crisis is in the soil, quite literally. Farmers are stewards of the soil and they must be incentivized and rewarded as such. We call on players across the food value chain to commit to achieving that by helping progress the key areas and unlock regenerative agriculture at scale.
Every person has an important part to play in our food system: From visiting a farm or a ranch and getting to know the people who grow your food, to asking your local supermarket to buy from local farmers, to calling elected leaders and advocating for policy changes, there are plenty of ways we can all help transition our agricultural system toward a regenerative one that fights the climate crisis.
You can see regenerative systems at work here at the Arthurgreenbean Ranch, caring for our land and community.

“Ayurveda is a sister philosophy to yoga. It is the science of life or longevity and it teaches about the power and the cycles of nature, as well as the elements.”
Our little organic farm shop was started during the pandemic and is now a fixed part of our lives. It provides us and our many loyal customers with the best regional organic vegetables and fruits available.
If the produce is not from our fields, then it is coming from the amazing Biohof Gut Paulinenwäldchen in Aachen, or through the wonderful Biofrischedienst from Thomas Mindner. We count ourselves blessed to have their support.
